Blueberry

Our Original Blueberry is a mostly Indica, that dates to the late 1970’s. A large producer under optimum conditions. A dense and stout plant with red, purple and finally blue hues, that usually cures to lavender blue. The finished product has a very fruity aroma and taste of blueberry. It produces a notable and pleasantly euphoric high of the highest quality and is very long lasting. Medium to large calyxes. “Blueberry” has a long shelf life.

Blueberry – Auto flowering

Blueberry itself is one of our all-time bestsellers, a Dutch Passion Classic. The special qualities of Dutch Passion's Blueberry are known worldwide.   They don't grow tall and hide themselves easy for the eye of unwelcome visitors.  As an automatic genetic source we have used Canadian Ruderalis genetics. Backcrossing till the F4 generation resulted in AutoBlueberry to become 100% automatic. The F4 auto flowered 100% .

The plants still carry most of the Blueberry characteristics, so the phenotype is distinctive Blueberry. Most plants display the famous light blue/purple colouring.  Smell and taste are sweet and fruity (blueberry). The strength and quality of the high/stone is above moderate.

Brainstorm

The genetics of Brainstorm were introduced in our seedcollection in 1996. The strain has been updated for the second time in 2006 by selecting a premium clone from the original seed stock. Through this premium clone the “Brainstorm” feminized seedline is produced. Brainstorm is a sturdy plant with the power and yield of the famous Northern Lights #5, hybridized with potent 100% Haze genetics. Brainstorm has a solid, strong long lasting "high", combined with a well balanced, soft smoking experience. Good for bumper harvests. A perfect variety to select clones from.

Californian Orange

A stabilized hybrid, inbred since 1980. Can be extremely resinous, even the leaves. 50% Sativa, 50% Indica. Some plants have a pronounced citrus aroma and flavour. Very strong, fairly clear high. Yields are slightly above average.

Durban Poison

Imported from South Africa, produced in Holland. Exclusively inbred, never hybridized, Large long budleaves, buds are also large and long with lots of resin. A sweet licorice or anise flavour. “Up” high similar to Thai. Well suited for outcrossing with late bloomers to produce earlier flowering. Also does very well under artificial light. A very popular variety.

Euforia

Developed by our breeders in 1996. A very fine Skunk selection, very commercial, very heavy bloom, bumper harvest, the famous Skunk "high", taste not so sweet as our other Skunk selections. One of our favorites, also for greenhouse.

Freddy's Best (Chocolope x Dutch Haze x Unnamed Sativa)

A legendary cannabis breeder who for over 20 yrs has given the world strains such as Blueberry, Mazar, Passion #1, Orange Bud, Strawberry Cough & many others.   Freddy is retiring and as a tribute to his legacy his final strain is named in his honour ‘Freddy’s Best’.

Easy to grow with a generous crop of large round buds which are dense and especially full of resin.  A unique aroma and delicious flavours with hints of cocoa as well as earthy scents, with a sweet and spicy taste.  Fantastically intense, clear and long lasting high.  This is a true connoisseurs delight that will also appeal to commercial growers due to the heavy yields.

The most beautiful outdoor variety we have ever encountered. A Super Skunk female x Purple Star male, seen after 3 years of selecting clones. Although we produced many Skunk/Purple hybrids in the past 20 years, we have never seen anything coming close to this hybrid. Light purple colour. Very high yielder, very good stem to leave ratio (only little leaves). Not susceptible to mold. Absolute premium quality outdoor strain. A must for the
outdoor grower.

We bravely extracted this sturdy plant back from the Hindu Kush region of Afghanistan, it is a compact and forgiving variety that grows well in any medium.  It produces an extremely potent smoke that is smooth and sweet with earthy/citrus flavours, the high is strong and powerful.  Less odour than normal is produced during flowering (important for some growers).

Buds are large, heavy and pale green with long hairs that range from white to orange/brown.  Master Kush is resistant to spidermite but can be susceptible to mold in humid conditions due to the sheer size and density of the bud growth.

Master Kush thrives under most growing conditions; it clones easily and is a reliably generous producer of very high quality pot.  A favourite of ours, we highly recommend it to you.

This is an upgraded selection of our valued former Afghan/Skunk. We improved the variety in 1997. The taste is softer than before and we managed to improve on yield. The Afghani (Mazar-i-Shariff) part is a very short christmastree- like plant, 100% Indica and very resinous. The F1-cross with Skunk#1 gives the variety a bigger yield and better taste. Very good “up” high. As both parents are very consistent, the offspring is very consistent too.

AutoMazar is a remarkably heavy-yielding autoflowering hybrid between our legendary Mazar and a Ruderalis/Indica.  Mazar is a triple prize winner, a best seller praised for its potency, high yields and soft taste.  AutoMazar is a typical Indica which produces sticky, generously proportioned with a strong-growing dense plant with big leaves. 

It is a robust strain that is easy to grow and guarantees a heavy early summer harvest of superior quality when grown outdoors. The stable genetics ensure that AutoMazar is resistant to pests and diseases. The flavor and aroma of this resinous variety are that of an original earthy Indica. The intense “body-high” is very pleasant.

We've had many requests to bring Night Queen back, so we did. Our goal was to re-create an Indica which would meet our multiple award winning Mazar. The outcome was a crystal covered, fast early flowering which is easy to grow and resistant to pests and fungus. The new Night Queen is forgiving and very easy to take cuttings from, a perfect mother plant. She is short and will suit indoor growers looking at SOG/SCROG. The name is an accurate one since most of the plants are a very dark green, almost black. Dark, beautiful with heavy harvests of frosty, hard and dense bud growth .

A genuine hash-plant smoke with a rich Afghani Indica heritage producing highly potent resin-frosted bud. A heavy yielder with all the earthy aromas you hope for in a top quality marijuana strain with the addition of some spicy flavours that the old-timers and connoisseurs will savour.

Passion #1

Passion #1 is an Indica variety developed in California in the seventies and has been grown outdoors in Holland since 1980. Smokes soft with a citruslike aroma and has a good high. Easy to grow, grows with long compact resinous buds. One of the best green outdoor varieties worldwide.

Power Plant

Powerplant (mostly Sativa) was developed by us in 1997 from new South African genetics. This strain has been inbred only, never hybridised. Very rich in THC. It is a strain with an enormous grow potential. Indoor as well as in a greenhouse the plants have an enormous yield. Indoors flowering starts already one week after turning back the lightcycle to 12 hours. Outdoor, flowering starts late, but the plants ripen very fast. This variety is very uniform. Strong “up high”, very soft smoke.

Purple #1

A strong plant (50% Indica, 50% Sativa), easy to grow. Purple Afghan seeds have been crossed in Holland with Indica and Sativa varieties since 1983. The plants are fully adapted to the Dutch climate and have a respectable yield. This variety has calyxes that turn purple, starting at the beginning of flowering. Up to 90% of the plants turn purple. Has a rough, but subtle aroma and a very good high.

Strawberry Cough

A very productive plant of high value as a medicinal herb. Bred for its euphoric, anti-anxiety high, this mostly sativa and produces a comfortable and enjoyable, yet powerful, experience. The plants have long branches, making this beauty a great plant for "sea of green" gardens. It's a very consistent purple variety. The quality is in the experience, not so much in the yield, which is average.

The buds are tight and shaped like narrow pinecones, and may get quite long. This variety's branches are sturdy and support even the weightiest of colas. Strawberry Cough tickles the lungs with her creamy-sweet smoke, whose flavor resembles strawberry, perhaps with a kiwi fruit complement. The buz is heady and active, a classic let's-go-hiking sativa lift that can alleviate depression.

The Ultimate

Through careful breeding we have created one of our most important strains, we call it “The Ultimate” as it combines some of the heaviest yields we have ever seen with genuine connoisseur quality.

It will take plenty of nutrients during the growth cycle and is resistant to moulds and bud rot making it a good greenhouse choice too.

Our growers have never seen a plant yield as heavily with this level of quality.  This is a recession busting strain of epic proportions and is guaranteed not to disappoint.

Think Different – Auto flowering

Sometimes a seed supplier needs to ‘think different’ to stand out from the crowd.  Dutch Passion did just that with the introduction of feminised seed technology in the 90’s and we have done it again with the creation of this very special AutoFem strain.

The target here was to create a high yielding autoflowering strain with superior potency levels that would challenge the very best traditional varieties.  We used a Dutch Passion genebank strain called AK42, this is a heavy yielding AK47 hybrid with extreme potency levels.  AK420 was systematically crossed with a carefully chosen Ruderalis.  The aim was to  surpass  the high standards set by the 2011 AutoFem bestseller AutoMazar.  Think Different’ is a heavy yielding AutoFem strain.  This is a heavy-hitting easy-to-grow strain that serious growers like you are simply not allowed to miss!

Twilight

Twilight is a combination of Pure Brazil and KC 606, producing a beautiful purple plant with high yields with a Afghan taste. The buds are heavy and high. It’s easy to grow, great for beginners with a high resistance to stress and diseases.  It is a short and bushy plant, buds are dense and sticky. It produces a very pleasant smoke, very powerful stoned effect.

White Widow

White Widow is a classic, a winner of countless awards with a reputation as one of the most powerful strains ever created.  The result is a legendary and highly desirable variety that is covered with crystals and delivers generous levels of excellent quality bud.  The Dutch Passion White Widow strain is extremely consistent and easy to grow with any grow method.  That’s why many true White Widow aficionados don't mind paying that little bit extra to get genuine 1980's F1 White Widow genetics, with the authentic smell, taste and unmistakably extreme high. Today many commercial seed companies offer White Widow seeds but many of these are distant imitations of the original.
